Callie D. Bryan has practiced law with Jones Cork, LLP since graduating from law school in 2002 and has been a partner since 2008. Mrs. Bryan counsels employers regarding general employment issues, assists employers in government investigations with the EEOC and U.S. Department of Labor, represents employers in claims before the Georgia Department of Labor, and actively litigates cases on behalf of employers, including claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), as well as issues involving employee non-compete/restrictive covenant agreements.
Mrs. Bryan also represents employers, insurers, and self-insured employers in workers’ compensation claims, which includes offering general advice on claims, providing training seminars, and defending employers and insurers in contested claims at the trial level through the appellate court system.
Additionally, Mrs. Bryan handles general litigation for insurers, focusing mainly on personal injury defense, as well as general litigation for business owners. Her experience in these areas includes defending cases involving slip and falls, dog bites, and various homeowners’ and business owners’ claims. Additionally, Mrs. Bryan handles collection matters, contract issues, and declaratory judgment actions.
Mrs. Bryan is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mrs. Bryan is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Macon and a 2007 graduate of Leadership Baldwin. She has been active with the Georgia Mock Trial Association, previously volunteering as an attorney-coach for the Baldwin High School Mock Trial Team, serving on the local High School Mock Trial Committee through the Young Lawyer’s Division, and judging regional competitions.
Mrs. Bryan enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two sons.
