At its November 15, 2019 meeting, the Macon Bar Association recognized its members who had been in practice for 50 years.  This included W. Warren Plowden, Jr., of counsel to Jones Cork, LLP, shown on the left in the accompanying photograph.  Warren joined the firm in 1971 after serving as a law clerk to Judge Griffin B. Bell of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Warren was introduced by H. Jerome Strickland, also of counsel to the firm and shown in the photograph with Warren.  While providing a brief look at Warren’s many legal and community accomplishments, Jerome chose to also inspire the attendees with a tale of Warren’s prowess as a fisherman.  No more about that.

Warren Plowden is a lawyer’s lawyer.  Jones Cork has been much the better to have him in the fold.  Congratulations, Warren!
