Bio

Ryan Swanson is a senior attorney in the firm, primarily working in the areas of banking and finance, business and corporate law, real estate, lease finance, education law, estate planning and probate.

Ms. Swanson has extensive experience representing various banks and lending institutions including negotiation and preparation of documentation for the purchase of bonds, secured lending transactions, structure investments, and syndicated loan transactions. She also has extensive experience in commercial leasing transactions, including both vehicle leasing and equipment leasing, as well as regulatory and licensing issues for such transactions. Ms. Swanson’s practice in commercial real estate includes advice, negotiation, documentation, and due diligence coordination relating to commercial real estate sales and acquisitions.

Ms. Swanson is a proud double dawg, having graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Finance from the University of Georgia in 2003 and then receiving her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2007 where she was also a member of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and was a notes editor. Ms. Swanson began her legal career in Atlanta at a national business law firm, then transitioned to work in-house at a Fortune 100 company specializing in leasing transactions and then practiced at a boutique New York City business law firm before joining Jones Cork, LLP in 2023.

In her free time, Ms. Swanson is an avid runner and writer and loves spending time with her husband, Todd, and their three fantastic, soccer-loving kids, Lukas, Julian, and Bridge
