Bio

Sydney McRee Solomon is originally from Milledgeville, GA. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia College and State University in 2011. After college, Sydney attended Mercer Law School where she was a member of the Mercer Advocacy Council, Student Trial Advocacy Competition Mock Trial Team and a Student Member of the Bootle Inn of Court. After graduating from Mercer Law in 2014, Sydney was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.

Prior to joining Jones Cork, Sydney practiced workers’ compensation law on both the Claimant and Defense side, personal injury litigation, and general business litigation. Her practice currently focuses primarily on education law.  In addition to education law, Sydney’s practice areas include local government law, general litigation for insurers, focusing on personal injury defense in both premises liability and auto-accident litigation as well as workers’ compensation claims. Sydney has litigated cases on behalf of her clients at both the trial and appellate levels.
