MACON, GA – The historic law firm, Jones Cork, is delighted to announce its 150th anniversary as a practicing law firm in Georgia. Jones Cork will mark the occasion over the year with a series of reflections and celebrations of their accomplishments throughout Macon and Georgia.

Founded in 1872 by Isaac Hardeman and James H. Blount, Jones Cork has been a staple law firm in Macon known as much for its civic pride and community involvement as its legal representation. The founding duo assisted in the reconstruction of Macon, a commitment to Macon and Georgia that the firm carries to this day.

Today, Jones Cork continues this commitment of service to the community, state, and professional organizations. Its attorneys serve on non-profit and educational boards, help out at local educational institutions, and serve as officers in local and state bar associations.

Over the years, the firm’s reach has extended well beyond its Macon, GA home. Attorneys from the firm have represented clients in various legal matters at state and federal courts. As a result of the firm’s long history, solid reputation, broad legal experience, and diversified clients, it has had the privilege of working with numerous national clients, on class actions and other litigation as well as non-litigation matters. That diverse experience and ability to call on the knowledge and experience of fellow attorneys in other practice areas of the firm enables Jones Cork to provide citizens of Macon, Georgia, and the US with services to meet a full range of legal needs.

Though the firm has grown in size and influence over the years, it has remained committed to each individual client, representing every legal engagement as if it were its first and most important. Jones Cork welcomes everyone in joining their 150th anniversary celebrations.
