Jones Cork, LLP is pleased to announce that its client, the Bibb County School District, was awarded a judgment against former superintendent Romain Dallemand in the amount of $47,506,992.72 for violations of federal and state racketeering charges; breach of contract; breach of fiduciary duty; and rescission of Dallemand’s February 2013 Severance Agreement.

Tom Joyce, Brandon Oren, Warren Plowden, and Canon Hill worked diligently to successfully navigate this complex, multi-faceted federal litigation. These attorneys fully dedicated themselves to pursuing justice for the students and taxpayers of the Bibb County School District.

“We are thrilled with these results,” Joyce said.  “Each day that we worked on this matter we thought of the students, taxpayers, and employees of the School District.  Our firm shares this success with the brave and honest School District employees that would not stand for injustice.”

Jones Cork was pleased to partner with attorney Jerry Lumley on this matter as well.  Mr. Lumley is an outstanding litigator and was an integral member of the team.
